Besides performing all automatic and manual actions on the worksheet, it is also possible to add and follow up debtor specific tasks, independent from the procedural steps.
Adding tasks
Via the debtor sheet
- Go to the debtor sheet
- Click on the 'Tasks' tab in the left menu
- Click on the 'New task' button to add a task concerning this debtor
- A window pops up on the right to be able to fill in the task, assign it to a user (it is also possible to assign it to a another iController user) and fill in the due date
- Click on 'save'
All added tasks will be visible in the 'Tasks' section. Tasks assigned to and/or added by other users can not be consulted.
The number of tasks appears in the left menu (in parentheses). This number contains only the tasks of the user that is logged in.
Via the worksheet
- Go to the 'Worksheet' section
- Scroll down to the 'Tasks' section at the bottom of the page
- Click on the 'New task' button to add a task
- A window pops up on the right to be able to choose the debtor or document (start typing name or reference in the entity field), fill in the task, assign it to a user (it is also possible to assign it to a another iController user) and fill in the due date
- Click on 'save'
Via incoming messages
The third way to add a new task is via an incoming message.
- Go to the 'Messages' section
- Open an incoming email in the inbox folder
- Click on the 'New task' button in the message window
- A window pops up on the right to be able to choose the debtor or document (start typing name or reference in the entity field), fill in the task, assign it to a user (it is also possible to assign it to a another iController user) and fill in the due date
Perform tasks
On the debtor sheet
To edit or close a task after finishing it, click the 'Done' or 'Edit task' button in the 'Tasks' window on the debtor sheet.
On the worksheet
At the bottom of the worksheet page, it is possible to edit the task by clicking on the pencil or use the 'done' button after finishing it.
Only the tasks created by or assigned to the user that is logged in, will be visible.
