Online payment (Mollie)

General

The easier customers can pay, the less work credit controllers could have.
Therefor, iController has an integration with payment provider Mollie. A payment provider is a party that combines and makes available different payment methods. 

By integrating with Mollie, you will take full advantage of different the payment methods. This will lead to paid immediately.

Payment methods

More than 20 (international) payment methods are supported by Mollie.

Mollie activation

By creating a free account at Mollie's, the preferred payment methods can be activated. The commission for Mollie per payment is described on the website.

Online payment integration in iController

When the contract with Mollie is concluded, it is possible to activate the online payment integration in iController.

Online payment on reminders

The online payment module can be activated on the different reminders as preferred.
A text or image with a link to the online payment page can be added to the reminder template(s). Once a customer clicks on this payment link, the debtor has the choice whether or not to pay certain invoices immediately online.

You decide on which template you place a text or image ('pay online'-button) with a link to the online payment page.

Online payment page

When the customer clicks the payment link (pay online-button), he is referred to the online payment page.

On this screen, the client makes a choice whether or not to pay certain invoices. When clicking the 'Start payment'-button, the payment screen appears with all payment methods that are activated with Mollie.

Document status 'online paid'

As soon as a payment has been completed, iController will receive a notification from the
payment provider. The invoices will be immediately moved to the new created status "Online paid" on the debtor sheet.

The documents in the online paid status can be easily consulted via the newly added tracking lists on the worksheet, so that these documents are not taken into account for the procedure nor the reminder templates.

Post-processing - automate the process of matching payments and invoices

Apart from following up the payment in iController, their is some post-processing that can be done in Mollie.

For example, it might be interesting to know which debtor has paid, which payment method is used,... and to automate the process of matching payments and invoices.

To do so, you can copy the reference that's linked to the pay-out by Mollie. This reference, if entered in the Mollie platform, can be used to download a CODA file. This file is a general document type, contains all the payment information which on it's turn, can be uploaded into your accounting software.

This speeds up the process of knowing when the debtor has paid off his debts!

 Usage of the online payment integration

For individual customers (B2C), an online payment integration is highly effective. You remove all tresholds and encourage the client to immediately take action. In combination with the SMS-integration, the online payment module is even more successful.

Also for B2B customers, the online payment module can be useful. For example, an online payment can help to unblock certain customers immediately so that the client can be served again in an instant.
