Creditsafe offers business information. For more information visit https://www.creditsafe.com/ or download the one-pager from Creditsafe Belgium: Creditsafe 1 pager NL.pdf
iController and Creditsafe offer an integration, which means that if you are a Creditsafe client, iController could receive daily updates of all or your outstanding customers. If you wish to connect your iController with Creditsafe, please follow the steps below.
- Contact your Creditsafe account manager. Let them know you wish to connect with iController
- Creditsafe provides integration credentials to collections-support@billtrust.com
- The Creditsafe integration will be activated by our Customer Success team
- At 23h00 CET the same evening, as well as every upcoming evening at 23h00 CET as from that day, iController offers all unique company numbers to Creditsafe to receive an update of the actual business information Creditsafe has to offer that day.
E-mail alerts
Please note that you will not receive email alerts of the customers that iController offers to Creditsafe. If you still receive email alerts, they probably originate from the Creditsafe online web tool which still can be used by your companies users, apart from the iController connection.
Unique company numbers
Each country has it's own unique company registration number. For example:
Country | Unique registration number |
Belgium | VAT number |
France | SIREN |
Netherlands | KvK |
Germany | HRA/HRB |
etc. | etc. |
Therefore it's important that your customer data in your ERP/accountancy software is correct and up-to-date. If your data does not contain these unique registration numbers, iController won't be able to provide correct information to Creditsafe.
Outstanding debtors vs archived debtors
By default, iController only provides outstanding customers to Creditsafe. If you would like iController to provide archived customers (without outstanding documents) as well, please let us know by sending an email to our Customer Success team (collections-support@billtrust.com). We could, for example, make sure that each customer which had an outstanding document in the past 6 months, is still provided to Creditsafe. It allows you to keep track of changes, even though the customer has no outstanding documents at the moment. (internal reference: trade_information_importer.receivables_days_limit).

FAQ
Q: By default, iController only provides debtors to Creditsafe with one or more outstanding documents (active debtors). What if a customer does not have outstanding invoices in iController for a few months and in the meantime goes bankrupt?
A: Since the client is not in monitoring without outstanding documents, this information will not be available in iController.
