Collections users auto-created from Platform user
Users are now able to add Collections users to the Platform and sync them automatically to collections. No more double-entry! Read our Feature & Functionality Guide for more details.
Enhancements
Account with Large Number of Documents
Further enhancements made to how BT Collections handles accounts with a large number of documents, including:
- Pagination (when using the Unified Documents Table)
- Outsourcing/Promise to Pay/Disputes/Payment Plans now work seamlessly for semi-active documents
- Status Assigner The status assigner will now work for semi-active documents so that statuses can be changed on 10,000+ documents
- Adding Documents to Payment Plans You can now only add up to 100 documents at a time to a payment plan
- Payment Plan Documents Overview By using the tag payment-plan-documents-overview, you can generate an overview of the documents in the payment plan, including the semi-active documents
- Send Document Overview Configured to send Excel attachments
- Document status change email The document status change email will now include only individual documents and not the combined documents
- Action buttons templates (pay online, promise & dispute) When clicking the button from a template to do a payment, dispute, or promises to pay instead of combined documents the individual documents are shown
- Automatic PDF removal Now automatically delete PDFs that have been archived for over 1 month and are marked as paid
- Document Archive The warning message on the archive page has been removed and the document archive now correctly displays the archived at date
- Procedure Start Conditions Procedure starting conditions now work correctly for semi-active documents
- Procedure progress & actions The procedure step will take into account the status of the documents
- Property Assigner Rules For accounts with combined documents, property assigners work slightly differently
- Default Total Widget A default total widget has been introduced for accounts with a large number of documents
- Tracking Changes to Custom Fields Tracking of all changes to custom fields and to allow customers to retrieve the changes with a new API endpoint (document-custom-field-historic-changes)
- Reporting Semi-active documents are now available in the reporting module
Table Filtering
More table filtering has been added to BT Collections in:
- The Document Archive
- The Workspace
- Document Notes
The Unified Data Table is now also available on the Account page. This table puts all documents, regardless of status, into one table and provides more robust filtering. An Account Manager or Customer Support must enable this feature.
Dynamic Template Logos
Logos and PDF Backgrounds can automatically be applied by constituents. See the Feature & Functionality guide on how to implement this feature.

Disputes Enhancements & Reporting

Reporting: DCS data from the Billtrust Platform is now available in Channel reporting. See our Feature & Functionality Guide for more details on this feature.

We’ve also enhanced Billtrust disputes so that users can:

Bulk Create Disputes and Modify Dispute Amounts.

The amount disputed for each document associated with the Dispute can be updated.

The same Category, Reason, Department, Assignee will be the same for all documents in dispute.

A separate dispute will be created for each document disputed.

Bulk Update-Within the dispute widget, users are able update Disputes in bulk.

Implementation & Support Improvements
We’ve added a number of improvements recommended by PSO and Support through the Aha Idea portal:

Credit notes were previously always checked and the buyer couldn’t uncheck them. With this ticket, credit notes can now be unchecked. |
Show version in BTC |
User can now see the version they are on in BT Collections which they can communicate to support when they have issues. |
Add Currency to standard Credit Limit |
Previously, the credit limit was shown in EUR even when the BTC platform was configured for another currency. Credit limit currency will now align with BTC platform configuration. |
Improve Automatic Schedule Procedures |
When “daily” is selected for automatic schedule procedures, users can now select the day (s) the reminder is sent. |
Add “promise to pay” date to reporting |
“Promise to Pay” date is now available in reporting. |
Add Warning to “Execute” in the Workspace |
When users select “Execute selected workspace items” they are not presented with a warning “Are you sure you want to execute x actions”. They must then select “OK” to confirm. |
Display Count of Messages with No Label |
We currently show a count of messages that have a label and now we are also show a count of messages that don’t have a label. |

Resolved issues
Force status to be visible when a document exists in that status
Previously, documents could be connected to a custom status that wasn’t visible so the document wouldn’t be visible. This forces the status to be visible when there is a document in the status.
