Positive and negative payment behavior
Positive and negative payment behavior typically used for calculating a credit insurance self-assessment is now available to all BT Collections customers.
To count positive experiences:
- Select Payment behavior from the Marketplace.
- Configure your rules around what constitutes positive payment behavior:
Configuration
Number of months to check indicates how many months should be considered when calculating the positive or negative payments
Use Due Date or Issue Date is when the invoice is due or when it was issued
Paid within days after date above is the number of days from the due date or issue date (selected previously) that constitutes a positive payment behavior
Once configured, the system will calculate the positive and negative payment behavior as follows:
- To calculate the positive payments, we’ll count the number of paid (archived) invoices where:
- Due date > issue date
- Paid date < invoice date + “Paid within days after date”
- During the last “Number of months to check”
- To calculate the negative payments, we’ll count the number of paid (archived) invoices where:
- Due date > issue date
- Paid date > invoice date + “Paid within days after date”
- During the last “Number of months to check”
